Trading Psychology
Psychology is the most underestimated factor in trading. You can have the perfect strategy and excellent risk management β but if you don't control your behaviour, you'll still lose money. 90% of traders who fail do so for psychological reasons, not technical ones. In institutional language, psychology is risk: every behavioural bias is a leak in your expectancy, and the market is engineered to exploit exactly the biases humans are worst at controlling.
Emotions in Trading
Emotions are information, not commands. Feeling fear during a trade is normal β acting on that fear by violating the plan is the leak. The plan is the structure that lets you execute correctly while the emotion is present.
